Nestled in the Fredericksburg historical district, you will be minutes from downtown restaurants and boutique shopping and a close drive to Enchanted Rock and the many wineries in the area.

The Armadillo Haus boasts four spacious king bed suites with private en suite bathrooms, (2 downstairs & 2 upstairs), an open-plan living space, and a spacious screened-in porch that is perfect for your morning coffee and evening hors d'oeuvres.

We hope that your vacation is as carefree as possible and that you walk into a house that is well equipped and set up in a way that allows you to focus on making fun memories, not stressing out about all the little things.

A starter supply of amenities is provided for your convenience. You will find dish soap, a sponge, paper towels and coffee in the kitchen to help you get settled in. There is shampoo, conditioner, soap, makeup remover wipes and toilet paper available in the bathrooms. Additional supplies will need to be purchased for longer stays and/or larger parties.

Rentals mean you are sharing spaces with night owls, early risers,and snorers. Sound machines are provided in each room to help ensure a good night sleep while staying in the house.

You will find HD flat screen smart TVs in the living room and all of the bedrooms. Simply log into your favorite streaming account and veg out for awhile. High speed internet is also provided throughout the house.

The kitchenette has cooking basics, including an induction burner, air fryer/toaster oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, beverage fridge, dishware/flatware, slow cooker, and outdoor gas BBQ Grill with side burner. PLEASE NOTE: The house offers a kitchenette, not a full kitchen. There is no oven or full stove but there is a full-sized refrigerator. Please enjoy the numerous restaurants in town!

Coffee klatsch with Keurig K-Duo (with pod and drip), a tea kettle, and a French Press provided.

The backyard is secluded with a fire-pit and sitting area, perfect for enjoying the beautiful evenings.

* There is a seasonal gas fireplace. The good news is that no firewood is needed. The bad news is that guests keep turning off the pilot light. This is a safety feature and requires calling out the gas company to reset. Please Do Not Turn Off The Gas Fireplace Pilot Light. Shutting off the pilot light will result in a $150.00 service fee charge.
* No smoking or vaping on the property (inside or outside)
* No events, parties, or large gatherings
* Maximum guests: 8 adults
* Must be at least 25 years old to book
* Quiet Hours are from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance.
* If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $500 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $1000 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called, there will be a $1500 fine, even if no citation is issued. Being a good neighbor is important.

Pets:
* Pet fee applies $130 with a maximum of two pets allowed
* Prior approval is required for pets.
* Only dogs under 30 lbs.
* Pet blankets and towels are provided to ensure the furniture is clean for the next guest.
* Pets should be kenneled if left alone.
* There is no fence. Please keep your pet on a leash.
*Waste bags will be provided. Please pick up after your pets.

Safety and Security:
* This property features exterior security cameras facing the front and rear entrances, parking area, and the west side yard. They do not look into any interior spaces.
* The property is not childproofed, making it unsuitable for children under 12.
*It is common in the Hill Country to encounter wildlife such as deer, raccoons, squirrels, possums, birds, snakes, etc. We ask that you always be aware of your surroundings and supervise children and pets at all times while outside.
* We utilize scheduled pest control services, but are not able to guarantee that any bugs or pests will not be seen during your stay. Please let us know if you encounter any ants, scorpions, spiders, cockroaches, mice, or snakes so we can arrange for additional services

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
